Dausa hero

Located along the Jaipur–Agra corridor, Dausa has emerged as a critical supply zone for road aggregates and manufactured sand (M-Sand) in Rajasthan. To keep up with rising demand for clean, graded material in this high-growth region, Shri Balaji Stone Crusher, under the leadership of Mr. Sunil Sharma, opted for a complete 4-stage crushing and washing setup from Taurian. The system was custom-designed to deliver consistent size, shape, and cleanliness across a wide range of construction materials—from 20mm aggregates to IS-compliant P-Sand.

Geological Setting – Quartzite and Hard Stone Reserves of Dausa

The Dausa region is rich in quartzite and hard sandstone, ideal for roadwork aggregates but difficult to process due to their high abrasiveness. Producing cubical aggregates with clean gradation and washed sand in such geology requires a comprehensive, multi-stage plant engineered for durability and precision.

The Challenge

Before upgrading to Taurian’s system, Shri Balaji Stone Crusher operated a basic two-stage setup that often led to flaky aggregates, uncontrolled fines, and high moisture in sand. Customer rejections and increased recirculation slowed production. With contracts from NHAI, local PWD, and RMC clients, Mr. Sharma needed a system that could deliver on shape, gradation, volume, and sand quality—without frequent shutdowns or excessive maintenance.

The Solution

Taurian’s Integrated 4-Stage Crushing & Washing Plant, comprising:

  • TJ200 Jaw Crusher – For strong primary reduction of quartzite boulders

  • CMS1850 2-Deck Screen – For initial separation and control over intermediate sizes

  • CG200 Cone Crusher – For secondary shaping and reduction with consistent gradation

  • T220 VSI Crusher – For superior cubical shaping and M-Sand production

  • TWS200 CycloWash – High-capacity washing system with dual cyclone and dewatering screen for clean, dry P-Sand

Results and Impact

Since installation, Shri Balaji Stone Crusher has seen a 70% improvement in production consistency, and has successfully met quality standards across roadwork, irrigation, and urban infrastructure projects. Key outcomes include:

  • Cubical aggregates with reduced flakiness index

  • Zero rejections from ready-mix and highway contractors

  • Increased production capacity with lower downtime and maintenance

  • Washed sand quality well within IS:383 and IS:1542 standards

The integrated plant enabled Mr. Sunil Sharma to expand his supply radius and fulfill large-volume government orders, making Shri Balaji Stone Crusher a preferred partner in eastern Rajasthan.
