Jhansi Hero

In 2017, Shiv Shakti Stone Crusher, led by Mr. Siddharth Yadav, invested in a Taurian tertiary crushing and washing solution to expand their capabilities in high-quality aggregate and sand production. The setup included a VSI T220 for cubical shaping and M-Sand generation, paired with a TWS Cycloswift 100 single cyclone washing unit. Installed in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, the plant was designed to meet the growing demand for clean sand and shaped aggregates for local infrastructure and RMC suppliers.

Geological Setting – Granite & Quartz-Rich Belt of Jhansi

Jhansi’s geology is dominated by granite, quartzite, and hard metamorphic rocks. These materials are ideal for producing durable road and construction aggregates but require advanced shaping and washing systems to meet IS specifications for M-Sand and P-Sand.

The Challenge

Before 2017, Shiv Shakti Stone Crusher struggled with:

  • Flaky, elongated aggregates that failed quality checks.
  • High silt content in sand, leading to rejections from concrete plants.
  • Frequent downtime due to inefficient tertiary equipment.

Mr. Yadav needed a durable, integrated solution to improve particle shape, produce IS-compliant washed sand, and ensure long-term operational reliability.

Results and Impact

From 2017 till today (2025), the VSI + CycloSwift combination has consistently delivered excellent outputs with minimum downtimes, proving to be one of the most reliable setups in the region. Key outcomes include:

  • Consistently cubical 10mm & 20mm aggregates.
  • IS-compliant washed M-Sand and P-Sand, with <5% silt content.
  • High uptime and low maintenance costs despite abrasive geology.
  • Sustained profitability and repeat customer orders from RMC plants and contractors.
