The Role

The Asst. Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting field sales operations in a specific territory. This is an entry to mid-level role suitable for candidates with engineering qualifications and initial experience in the crushing and screening industry. The role includes assisting in business development, customer relationship management, technical product pitching, and territory coverage. The ideal candidate should be a quick learner, technically sound, and eager to grow within the sales function of the capital equipment industry.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior team members in achieving sales targets across the assigned region.
  • Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Conduct customer meetings, product presentations, and technical discussions.
  • Assist in proposal preparation, quote follow-ups, and negotiation support.
  • Maintain records of client interactions, sales pipeline, and visit logs in CRM.
  • Collaborate with the service and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Travel 20–22 days/month to client sites, dealers, and project locations.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical, Mining, or related Engineering field
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year in the crushing and screening industry.
  • Total 3+ years of experience in the engineering or capital equipment sector.
  • Experience with any of the following peer group companies preferred:
  • MNCs: Metso, Sandvik, Terex, Keestrack, Weir Minerals, CDE Asia
  • Indian OEMs: Propel, Puzzolana, Hailstone, Proman, Rockcut, Diamond, Rolljack, 5Apollo, RD Infra, MB Crushers, Mechtech, Core Crushers
  • Dealers: Voltas, Constech Heavy, Fine Equipments, Mewar Hitech, SMPPL, Vak Cosequip, Aim Sales & Services
