Power BI Developer

The Role

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards and reports. The role involves data modeling, visualization, performance tracking, and supporting business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Collect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources (Excel, SQL, APIs, ERP, etc.)
• Create data models, DAX calculations, and visualizations
• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
• Monitor business KPIs and automate reporting processes
• Optimize dashboard performance and data refresh schedules
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security
• Support ad-hoc reporting and analytics requests
• Document data processes and dashboards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in Power BI development
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Understanding of ETL concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience with Azure / cloud data platforms
• Knowledge of Python or Excel advanced analytics
• Experience working with business teams (Finance, Sales, HR)
• Certification in Power BI is an added advantage
