The Role

The Product Management Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of products throughout their lifecycle. This role requires close coordination with engineering, R&D, sales, marketing, and service teams to translate market needs into actionable product features. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical understanding, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple product lines while ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete product lifecycle from concept, development, launch, to end-of-life support.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activity to identify product opportunities.
  • Define product requirements, features, and specifications in alignment with customer needs and business goals.
  • Coordinate with engineering, R&D, and operations teams to ensure timely product development and quality.
  • Assist in setting product pricing strategies and support go-to-market initiatives with the marketing team.
  • Monitor product performance metrics, sales trends, and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Conduct training for sales and service teams on product features, benefits, and positioning.
  • Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and exhibitions to gather direct market insights.
  • Maintain product documentation, manuals, and update logs.
  • Support the Head – Product Manager in strategic planning and team development.

Requirements

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related); MBA preferred.
  • Experience:Minimum 6–8 years of experience in product management or related functions.
  • Strong understanding of product development in capital equipment or industrial products.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective project and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in product management tools and MS Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
